One More Round for the Legacy

Our Mission

The Fullmer Legacy Foundation empowers underserved youth through mentorship, education, and physical wellness. Rooted in discipline, resilience, and character, we provide free access to structured boxing programs, life-skills training, and community-based support in a safe, inclusive environment at the Fullmer Legacy Center.

Program Growth & Enrollment

220
Young Athletes Enrolled

We are proud to share that 220 young athletes are now enrolled in the Fullmer Legacy Boxing Program, making us the largest youth boxing program in the nation. This milestone reflects the urgent demand for safe, structured spaces where kids can build confidence, resilience, and character both inside and outside the ring.

Every new registration is a testament to the trust families place in us, and to the generosity of donors who ensure no kid is turned away.

Sponsor a Boxer Fundraiser

Goal: $25,000

Every kid deserves a chance to step into the ring of opportunity, regardless of their family’s financial situation. Our Sponsor a Boxer Campaign invites donors to directly cover the cost of gloves, gear, coaching, mentoring, and academic support.

Our Goal: Raise $25,000 so that no child is turned away.

Together, we can build champions—not just in boxing, but in life.

Parkinson’s Research & Partnerships

The Fullmer Legacy Center is proud to partner with the University of Utah Health Movement Disorders Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Neurological Restoration on groundbreaking Parkinson’s research and wellness programming.

Thanks to the leadership of Kim Fullmer, this initiative is already transforming lives. Demand is so strong that we are preparing to launch a second cohort of participants to expand access.

Your continued support fuels both innovation and compassion, ensuring that families facing neurological challenges have access to care, hope, and community.

Eccles Foundation Support & Visit

This month, we welcomed Erin Armstrong and her team from the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation for a tour of the Fullmer Legacy Center. To honor their generosity, we presented them with a handcrafted Fullmer Brothers Statue—a symbol of gratitude for their visionary partnership.

About the Eccles Foundation:

Established in 1960, the Eccles Foundation has awarded more than $600 million in grants across Utah, investing in education, health, community well-being, the arts, and preservation. Their legacy of transformational giving continues to strengthen institutions and communities statewide.

By aligning with the Eccles Foundation, the Fullmer Legacy Foundation is part of a broader movement to create opportunities that uplift young people and transform communities.

Community Rental & Gathering Space

The Fullmer Legacy Center is more than a boxing gym; it’s a community. From neighborhood meetings to family celebrations, the Center is recognized as a welcoming space where partnerships, collaboration, and community thrive.

When you invest in the Center, you are helping us maintain a gathering place that belongs to everyone.

Recognition at McBride Foundation Best of State Celebration

On August 26, the Fullmer Legacy Foundation was honored at the Ron McBride Foundation Best of State Celebration as the only after-school program outside the K-12 public school system to receive funding.

About the Ron McBride Foundation:

Founded in 2009 by legendary University of Utah football coach Ron McBride, the foundation serves at-risk youth in Title I schools through after-school programming that promotes health, leadership, and academic success. With a strong track record and national recognition, the McBride Foundation continues to champion equity and opportunity for Utah’s children.

Being recognized by such a respected peer foundation validates the impact and necessity of our work, and reminds us that when nonprofits collaborate, entire communities rise.

Why This Matters:

  • Growth: More young people are walking through our doors every week.
  • Recognition: Trusted foundations are validating our model as both effective and innovative.
  • Momentum: With your help, we can seize this moment and expand our reach to serve even more youth.

✨ Together, we are building champions—
in the gym, in school, and in life. ✨

Your gift—whether monthly, one-time, or through sponsorship—fuels more than programs. It builds character, creates opportunity, and ensures no kid is left outside the ring.
